Willow Place provides crisis services and emergency shelter for women and their children leaving family violence situations. Donations are vital and help Willow Place provide care and services for the women and children who come through its doors.
Willow Place depends on donors, and our club’s fundraising is our way to let women and children, who come from situations of domestic violence, know that they are cared for and supported by our community. We unhesitatingly support Willow Place in its mission to provide critical services to help those persons affected by family violence.
The Red River Region Porsche Club in conjunction with the Porsche Centre of Winnipeg raised $3,400 in support of Willow Place, which is Manitoba’s largest women & children’s emergency crisis shelter.
Donation to Willow Place by Red River Region Porsche Club & Porsche Centre Winnipeg
David Breed – Marcie Wood – Braeden Mueller – Linda Hogue – George Derwin
The cheque was presented by Braeden Mueller, General Manager of Porsche Centre Winnipeg, David Breed (President Red River Region PCA), Linda Hogue (Treasurer RRR PCA), and George Derwin (Secretary RRR PCA). Marcie Wood, on behalf of Willow Place, accepted our donation. Her thank you to us was perhaps one of the most ‘heartfelt thank you’ one could imagine.
